important information

I am located in Elizabethton, TN. I serve East Tennessee, Western North Carolina, and Virginia…but I’m always ready to travel!

I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions and weddings! I actually love it when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that is special to them. I book engagement sessions at least two months in advance and 60 miles of travel are included. If you would like me to photograph a destination wedding (or one outside of 60 miles), we can work out the details when you contact me.

I love getting to know my clients through an engagement session. This session allows you to warm up to the camera so you are ready to rock and roll on your wedding day!  By the time the big day arrives,  my clients feel comfortable with me (in fact we are more like friends) and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography. If you absolutely do not need an engagement session, we can sub out a bridal portrait session in its place.

Absolutely, positively, YES! I may or may not have been called the dog whisperer by some of my clients whose fur babies I’ve photographed with them. My pets are my family and I understand wanting to include them. Just make sure to bring someone along to hand your pet off to once we finish those images. 

You will receive between 800-1,000 edited images in your wedding gallery!! (I average 75-100 images per hour that I’m shooting.) I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery.  You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want.  I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if we were in your shoes!

The turn around time for your 800-1,000 edited images and online wedding gallery is 6 weeks.

I’ve been a wedding and family photographer for the past 10 years. I have shot over 200 weddings as an associate or main photographer and too many families (and special memories in between) to count! In that time, I’ve learned, evolved, and been mentored. I have jumped head first into workshops across the country, dove deep into further education, and gained tips, tricks, and advice. I have had so many opportunities to learn from some of the best photographers in my area and from across the nation!
